Has anybody seen the new name/logo for scandals? I can't remember what it's called but there is a shark playing guitar on the front. That has to count for something.
1: The Quarter 2: Windrose 3: Cafe Loco 4: Tybee Time 5: Hucapoos
The Quarter: perfection.
Windrose might have weird people, but no one bothers you and you see all kinds. Cheap drinks/great bartenders.
Cafe Loco: People from Tybee work at Cafe Loco. You don't have to put up with the hippies from Hucapoo's or the gross people from down front. Transportation is an issue. It's more expensive than the Quarter/Hucapoos but it's not as expensive as downtown.
Tybee Time is way too crowded and full of trashy people, but it's convenient and has frozen drinks.
Hucapoo's is overrated. Great food and great prices, but too many hippies and other people who aren't from Tybee who think they run the place (not a reflection of the people who work their/run the place because they get the Tybee way).
Benny's is awful: hot, bad bartenders, Effinghammers, and the occasional Sigma Chi's who come down and think they run the place.
Gayna's might be okay. I haven't been there enough to judge, but Katie's boyfriend got in a fight there.
Hucapoos: If I could put a bar in my backyard, it would be this one. Great crowd...best bar to go to in Sav-Chatham county to randomly run into great people. There are some out-of-towners like Donnie was saying, but fresh faces can be nice. Cheapest/strongest drinks mixed with absent minded bartenders= cheap/great time. The gyro pizza is heavenly.
Windrose: Like Donnie said, cheap drinks, great bartenders. There are definitely weird people there, but this is Tybee folks...the place is crawling with them. The itunes on the computer is great because you can hear whatever you want to and you don't have to pay.
The Quarter: Me (while riding by The Quarter): The best wings and burger in Savannah My dad: You mean on Tybee. Me: No.
The Quarter has great food, but let's be serious, this would not rank on anyone's list if the food was average or the kitchen closed at a normal time. The drinks aren't cheap...for Tybee at least.
Gayna's: I haven't been there in about a year or so. It was cool then. It is probably still cool. To be honest my list is extremely top heavy because I don't really like going many places besides the top three.
Whatever bars are left...: These bars all suck.
Benny's is cool for the same reason short shorts, docksiders and pastel shirts must be cool, everyone is there and it's gay. It is hot as balls in there, the bartenders are way too slow and the drinks cost way too much.
Bernie's: ain't even worth mentioning.
Tybee Tyme: Trashy Abercrombie Party/High School Dance with booze...great DJ though.
Doc's: I'll let you know in about forty years.
Rock House: It just reminds me of my dearly departed Scandals.
I do miss Scandals. I have never been to Gayna's and I never intend too. I did hear that members of the Kappa Alpha order like to get get rowdy in that place.
Sandbar is not that bad. Bennies is ok, but it has provided some comical moments.

Patrick Sauers single handley makes Spanky's Bar a place to be.
Especially when a bunch of gay guys form a pyramid on the bar.
Where the hell is Tybee Tyme?
Tybee Tyme sucks, so it is not on this list.
The Quarter should be number 1.
1. Hucapoos
2. Windrose
3. The Quarter
4. Gayna's
5. Whatever bar the squares I am with want to go to besides the "good four."

Hucapoos: last time i went the pizza was not up to their usual standard
Social: went to this new restaurant last night and it was pretty good on tybee. cheap/good beer list and pretty good food.
