September 16th, 2011: BC plays Savannah High in Grayson Stadium for the first time in 52 years.

Not sure what's prompted the city to do this but we should all be very thankful for the decision. Grayson's capacity isn't near what it used to be; that plus all of the hype and nostalgia could make this a sellout crowd.

Georgia doesn't play anybody important the next day so there is no reason for a BC alum to miss this game (other than not being able to find a ticket).

Good things are happening.

Hopefully we all remember what happened the last time a German had this much power.  Unnerving parallels between the scene at Bourbon Street Saturday night and the Nuremberg rallies of the 1930's.  Between 10pm-11pm a state of emergency was declared.

Leonard Wedding

Fellow BMBS contributor, Michael, will become the second Leonard brother to tie the knot this weekend. The irony is that Michael, a GT grad and diehard Yellow Jacket fan, will be getting married at the UGA Catholic Center. Also, when I referred to Michael as a "BMBS contributor" I really meant "BMBS member" since only Pat and I contribute anything these days.
