Best Fast Food Burger Ever
Wendy's, a fast food restaurant constantly searching for an identity, has struck gold with its newest menu item. The Baconator is the greatest fast food hamburger ever produced.
Seen above in its actual form, the Baconator does not pretend to be anything it's not. What you see is what you get: 830 calories and 51 grams of fat. No fancy condiments like lettuce, tomatoes or onions. Just bacon, cheese, ketchup and mayonaise, the way a burger was meant to be. And there are no oversized buns to make it appear bigger than it actually is. This thing is all meat, baby. If John Holmes were alive today, this would be his burger.
Adding to the magnificence of this meat marvel is the witty ad campaign that uses personification to give the Baconator a beast-like quality. Taglines such as Careful, it can sense fear and Order it before it orders you conjure up images of a werewolf with a chainsaw for a dick (I stole that from EDSBS, but you get the point). So, if you have yet to experience the Baconator, do yourself a favor and drop what you're doing right now and go get one. It will change your life.

I'll take the bait, but let's call it what it is: The BK Stacker.
This shoe leather tastes like bacon.
Wendy's has always had great burgers, but their bacon has always sucked.
The Baconator is tasty, but it's not blowing my skirt up. I'm sticking with my usual #2 with cheese & ketchup only.
Wendy's has the best fast food burgers around, but they fall to exotic burger joins such as In-N-Out and Whataburger.
Hardee's Monster Burgers are better.
Next time anyone is in Atlanta, you have to go to Five Guys. They are sprouting up all over the metro Atlanta area. The regular burger is a double, no singles to speak of. And there is a list of condiments (grilled onions, mushrooms, etc) that are all free additions. So good.
The best burger in town is found between 10am - 2pm at either the Omlette House (near skidaway island) or Sunny Side Up (derenne ave between reynolds and waters).
$5 gets a 3/4'lb hamburger loaded up with 5 or 6 strips of bacon, lettuce, cheese, mushrooms, and it falls off the bun. Great way to start a Saturday off or finish off Mass on Sunday.
Nick, I was about to say that. Omlette House easily has the best hamburger in Savannah.
They are actually putting a Five Guys downtown across from the Arch.
My main problem with the Baconator is that they say it has six strips of bacon when it's really only three strips cut in half. I see right through you, Wendy's!!
The Baconator would be better with no bacon at all.
Since Nick and Pat decided to take this burger discussion away from fast food places and bring it to actual sit down restaurants, my vote for best burger in town goes to Debi's downtown.
MacKenzie,
Women are not supposed to be outside of the house enjoying fast food hamburgers.
Rather, they should be barefoot and pregnant, perfecting their husband's homemade burger in the kitchen.
This whole 1960's equality for women thing has gotten way out of hand.
