Don't read this if you haven't seen Episode III.
Favorite Things:
- The scene where Anakin is alone in the council room looking in Padme's direction and Padme is looking in his direction. Really well done and the music was fitting. I would argue that here he's already made the decision to turn to the dark side, which would mean he DOESN'T rush into it after Mace dies, contrary to what other people are saying.
- All the dialogue between Anakin and Obi Wan, especially on Mustafar. Overall favorite scene is the one where Obi Wan talks to Anakin after cutting his limbs off, and watches him writhe in agony...and just walks away. That's a cold brotha. *Notice that he takes Anakin's lightsaber, which he gives to Luke in A New Hope.
- Ian McDiarmid. When he was just Palpatine, his acting was perfect. Some people think he was too silly and over-the-top as the Emperor, but I was so glad to see him again that I didn't even consider that.
- The way Anakin screams when he gets cut up and burnt.
- The scene showing Vader, Palpatine, a young Tarkin and the old school uniforms and technology.
- Seeing Aldaraan for the first time and knowing that everyone there will die.
- Senator Organa using the same ship that Leia is on in the beginning of Episode IV.
Dislikes:
- Not enough Wookies.
- The now-infamous "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
- The way Obi Wan says "democracy" before they fight.
- Obi Wan: "Anakin, the emperor is evil!"
Anakin: "And in my point of view the Jedi are evil." - Worst non-romantic line in the movie.
- Didn't show Anakin killing children. :(
My ranking of the movies at this time, least to best:
6. The Phantom Menace
5. Attack of the Clones
4. Star Wars
3. Empire Strikes Back
2. Return of the Jedi
1. Revenge of the Sith

This sounds like an episode of MTV's roomraiders. "There were some things about room number 2 that I liked and somethings that I didn't like". Anyway, I think I should add something that Ryan told me the other day and should tell the rest of you. If you see the movie again, look for Millenium Falcon landing after Anakin crash lands that ship at the beginning of the movie. Revised Star Wars Rankings:
6. Phantom Menace
5. A New Hope
4. Attack of the Clones(only ranked ahead of IV b/c of the special fx).
Tie. Emipre/Jedi
1. Revenge of the Sith
That is probably the nerdiest thing I have ever done besides going to see a midnight showing of Episode III. I am going to play some football, drink beer and do some dip all at the same time to get this nerdy residue off me.
Just one more thing. Everyone keeps on ripping the Darth Vader "Noooooooo" at the end, but this has happened in Star Wars before. Go back to Empire Strikes Back at the end after Darth Vader tell Luke that he is his father. There is another infamous "Nooooo". Like father like son.
I agree with Tim and Ryan on the most part, but I must throw my two cents in after viewing the movie twice in two days, just like everyone else.
Likes:
1. The whole damn movie, the best Star Wars movie ever made.
Dislikes:
1. The fat bastard average overweight American sitting behind me in the theater who has to laugh at every damn thing in the movie. Just as I told Ryan, one is not obligated to laugh at every comedic opportunity. Case in point: at BC there were kids doing funny things at every minute of the day, yet there was a level of "funnyness" that merrited laughter, even though everything was funny.
2. Too much computer animation for the characters, ie the Storm Troopers, Wookies, Yoda (when not wipping ass), etc. A lot of the movie needed the computer graphics, but a lot of it didn't.
"when not wipping ass". There was alot of Yoda ass wipping in Episode III.
My bad Tim, I meant to type the word "whipping." Man, you sound just like that loser "anonymous" person a while back.
One more thing Timmy, "the Spelling Champ", Wallace. You are assuming that the word "wipping" means "to clean or dry by rubbing." The actual spelling of the word with the above definition is "wiping",and not "wipping" as you say.
