A Little Housecleaning

Some felt it was time for a Back to Basics approach here at BMBS and so that is what we have implemented.  For those of you who did not make the cut (most of you didn't) I am truly sorry.  Now that there's only four of us, I'm not really sure what we'll talk about.  Not worried.  It wasn't a problem in February of '05 nor will it be now.  Thanks and God Bless.

BMBS should take applications for a new writer. Maybe some sort of formal process involving weekly cuts, a la Survivor.

Man, it feels great to get rid of the waste... just like a number two the morning after a long night at KBs.

Here's my exit speech, written by the great Bobby Knight, "When my time on Earth is gone and my activities here are past, I want that they should bury me upside down so my critics can kiss my ass."

This is a last-ditch effort to save BMBS. We have been operating very inefficiently for quite some time.

The future of BMBS now rests on the shoulders of her four original members.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for the time I was allowed to spend as a contributor to BMBS.  I enjoyed it thoroughly, although it was often difficult for me to carve out my own niche as a contributor.

I don't envy those who had to make the call to clean house.  I'm sure being under the scrutiny of our 8 readers was too much pressure to bear and something had to be done.

I wish you all the best in the future.  BMBS is left with its four founding fathers, half of which usually have something interesting to say.  Keep fighting the good fight, letting the Internet know about BC sports, UGA sports, St. Patrick's Day and everything else that is really important to people.

All the best,
Joe

All I have to say is "Don't let the back door hit your ass on the way out!"

Thanks for the opportunity! I was sent a text last night that said I was kicked off. When I woke up to these messages, I thought the only member kicked off was me. So, my reaction was not a somber one. After being on the road selling empty boxes today,I remembered it was a honor to be apart of this blog, and not a right.

I didn't get a text and don't feel obligated to express any gratitude.
