Reincarnation

It's my first day back at the SAGIS office and, as usual, I have nothing to work on. Googling my own name, I stumbled upon the homepage for William Fleming High School in Roanoke, VA. Check out their mascot. The Colonels! Weird, huh? The school is named after a Scots immigrant who served as a surgeon in George Washington's regiment during the French and Indian War and later as a Colonel in Dunmore's War. He would later become a member of the General Assembly, a state senator, and even served as governor of Virginia for a brief period.

If anyone is contemplating what to get me for Christmas, visit the Colonel's Corner and order me a hoodie.

I'm back on the job as of Thursday. Look forward to doing the old "power lunch" at Fat Pat's again.

Regarding this Colonel guy, he may have fought in Dunmore's War or whatver, but I guarandamnteeya he didn't have to lead his unit through RFI. Trust me, you'd dunmore in your 9-month tenure as brigade commander than he ever could hope to have.

i don't know what the hell yall are talking about but arvind told me about this here blog and i wanted to see it. yall are a bunch of nerds.

hey steven: (thats right, with a 'v') i remember when Will bought a lunch every day. remember when he would sit there and wait on the break truck, staring at his watch, getting pissed if the guy was late? every morning at aobut 10 o clock.

anyhoo, i'm gonna watch out for this blog. ATL!!!

Damn right I remember that break truck. I also remember Bobby and Mario smoking pot right next to it one morning.

Its good to see you're alive TC. Quit making money in Atlanta and move back to Savannah. If not, spread the good word of this website to the heathens of "The Perimeter" (refer back to the beginning posts to know the force behind this blog.)

Hey Pat, why don't we make TC a contributor? He can finally fill the void that "Mr. Ray Man" created. TC can give us a prospective into the devil's den.

Also, I'll be in Atlanta Saturday for a graduation party. I'll give you and Honey Mustard a call.

TC - looking into possibly/definitely/maybe getting a summer job there. My love for all things black, gay, Ryan Seacrest, and Von Dutch just won't keep me away.

didn't i make the (drunken) acquaintance of some of y'all (to use a Southern word) back in March at my wedding reception?

Anandi, you must have been the drunkest of all. Surely you remember that your Savannah reception was in May, not March.

It was a great party Anandi. Y'all should have another shin dig at the Ford Plantation. I hear Arvind has been scoping it out for the 1 year anniversary party he plans on hosting.

yes, i might have been drunker than the rest of y'all. Saying hello to 300 of my parents closest friends who I have met once or zero times will do that ;) yeah, you're right, it was in may, not march. i'm supposed to remember that stuff, huh?

glad you had a good time. if you come to seattle and need a place to crash, let me know. the room rate can be paid in beer, but we're reasonable people.
