Capitalism in a Hollywood Film?!

I am pretty sure everyone on this blog would really like The Pursuit of Happyness (yes, it's purposely spelled that way). I've never seen such a beaming endorsement for the American Dream, capitalism, and determination to be successful in a mainstream movie before. Great, great movie.

SSL wouldn't like it because a black man rises above all odds. It's the same reason he doesn't like "Remember the Titans."

Off topic, but can someone please write a blog about the idiotic gas boycott day that is supposed to happen tomorrow? I'd be interested to know everyone's thoughts about it.

Gas boycotts are dumb. Everyone stocks up in the days before or waits until the day after.

The idea of a one-day boycott is retarded to begin with.

"Screw you, gas guys! I'll be back tomorrow, though."

Yea, I'd post on it but Joe pretty much nailed it already.

It's true. I filled up Friday night, so I've been boycotting gasoline for four days now. I'm making a difference.

My boycott, however, will end this weekend as I am driving to Atlanta and then onto North Carolina.
