That one guy in the back is wearing his cloth ranks on the Class A jacket epaulets. Unless Owens has changed the rules, you're supposed to have the brass ranks on coat, and the cloth ranks on the shirt underneath. Meanwhile, the black kid standing next to him has no rank on at all. What a disgrace.
This is quoting Charlie Weis when he took the Notre Dame job in December of 2004. Hopefully it applies, and Bob has this same mentality: "You are what you are, folks, and right now you're a 5-5 football team. And guess what, that's just not good enough. That's not good enough for you, and it's certainly not going to be good enough for me. So, if you think they hired me here to go .500, you've got the wrong guy. But you are what you are. How fast or how well we get and how long it takes to get to the top, I'm not giving you those answers. I'm not going to predict that. But I can tell you this. You are going to have a hard-working, intelligent, nasty football team that goes on the field because the attitude of the head coach will be permeated through the players. And I hate to include the nasty, but that is part of being a winning football team."

I'll have to say, Bob is wearing a sharp sports coat. A sign of better things to come, maybe?
Is that cadet out of uniform? What's his name?!

It is possible that the black kid has his ranks on a black sweater. He should, however, have the sweater on.
