The State of Music: 2005 vs. 1965

You be the judge.

Two years behind, though. I make that point because popular music has gotten even worse since this street walker was on that stage. Some easy targets could have been Beyonce, Gwen Stefani (though her new song is good), "Fergie" (man face), and many more. Tuneless.

Ignoring the fact that I actually know this, it seems like Ashlee Simpson is trying to improve her career. She got a nose job and doesn't look like a parrot anymore, and is working with people like The Cure for her new album. Desperate.

Oh I know, I could have easily gone worse than Simpson (50 Cent, anything by the Black Eyed Peas, etc.) I use her only because both were arena rock venues and to demonstrate how technology is 10x better now that it was 40 years ago, and yet music is at least 10x worse.

The Beatles could never hear anything they were playing.
If you watch the entire Shea Stadium concert, you quickly realize they constantly had to look at each other's fingerboards/use body language to signal to one another what part of the song they were on. Amazing.
