Prescribing a counterproductive antidote for a non-existent disease

Earlier tonight on Hardball I heard a Democratic Congressman say that we need to raise the minimum wage to "revive this sluggish economy."

Which is basically the same thing as saying we need to raise NCAA graduation rate requirements in order to revive the sluggish Ohio State football team.
